Responsibilities:

  • Assist K-8 students with completing their school assignments during virtual learning days.

  • Help students prioritize their assignments. Ensure that students remain focused and on task as they work on their assignments.

  • Provide instructional support as needed. This may include answering questions, teaching or re-teaching concepts, and checking work for accuracy.

  • Sanitize the center before, during, and after each Learning Lab.

Learning Lab tutors must have availability Monday through Friday (or a combination of days) from 8:30-12:30.

Qualified candidates must have experience working with school-aged children and have familiarity with elementary and/or middle school curriculum. They must understand developmental levels of children and have a passion for helping students experience academic success. Tutors must also exhibit responsibility, reliability, and an ability to work under minimal supervision.

Tutor
Learning Labs


Responsibilities:

  • Meet virtually with middle and high school students to answer homework questions in math and science.

  • Guide students towards figuring out the answers without telling them the answers.

  • Review completed homework for accuracy.

Online Homework Help tutors must have availability Monday through Thursday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Work can be completed remotely or in our office. If working remotely, then Online Homework Help tutors must have a quiet, professional space to work with reliable Internet service.

Qualified candidates must have knowledge of middle school and high school math and science topics. They must understand how to explain topics to students in a way that the students can understand. Tutors must also exhibit responsibility, reliability, and an ability to work under minimal supervision.
